MiCafe

Are the combined cost of prescription drugs and groceries making it harder each month to make ends meet?

Through MiCAFE, the Food Assistance Program can help you buy food and free up money for other needs like medicine.

If you are a resident of Genesee County with limited income and someone in your household is age 60 or older, you can apply for food assistance simply by going to your local senior center and asking for MiCAFE.

A trained volunteer is available at the Flushing Area Senior Center to conduct one-on-one interviews, complete the on-line form for seniors and submit the application to FIA (Family Independent Agency) for processing.

Call the Senior Center at (810) 659-4735 to schedule an appointment.
